Pulling us apart

 

If you have a cause for fighting

Is it the same for your brothers?

Are they working from the same plan

Or one devised by others?

Is it really all one movement

Has there been an infiltration

One sect’s personal ambition

Resulting in this situation.
 

If there are disparate reasons

There is difficulty in control

As one personal agenda

cannot satisfy for the whole!

Is your ideology based

On closing down democracy

In evaluating one group's aims

leading to autocracy

 

These continuing wars & battles

That are spreading round our Earth

Have no victors only losers

And diminish mankind’s worth

We need to show the way

To the coming generation

So our children will all see that

We are  just one big nation!
