Inspired

 

Inspiration is a rare thing

It can be given to someone who likes to write or sing

You need to know that you are the one

That has inspired me to write, and this is what I've become

 

My poems are thoughtful, you have shown me the way

Just writing a poem, can tell you what I'm trying to say

My life is special, so you have always thought

But I wouldn't be good at poetry if I hadn't been taught

 

This is a thanks to you, for all you have done

Love your very greatful, and loving grand-son
