 Hold On

Though I have left your grasp
and a space has taken my place,
Hold on, for although unclasped,
The bond is there to encase
The emptiness.

This will enlarge, expand as time goes on
so hold on!
I am always there.
For this is you I know and knew
And always will
Hold on , be calm, be still.

One day you will hear the words I say,
In your own time
Hold on, you have been my life to me
I am there, yet I am here
Hold on, this truth will be!
