AFTER HOSPITAL

I started euphoric, I'm well​
No more pain​
And it lasted four days​
Then it came back again.

I felt great despair, for​
I 'd hoped it had finished​
So forced here to rest​
In two hours it diminished.

That gave me hope, a message to me​
From the doctor who said​
"Invariably, this will be​
From doing too much, too early, too soon​
So I vowed I would rest​
Each day after noon!!
