The Walk In The Woods

Light shone in shafts
And pointed the way
The walk through the woods
That you took each day.

What joy you experienced
As you walked there you two,
Making sense of each day,
For Dad and for you!

He is now gone
Passed on from this plain
Yet you walk on regardless
To meet once again

Each week you still wonder
As you walk to the clearing
Is he here now
Within in my hearing?

Spring bulbs surround
The place you both stood
He hears you, is with you
In that space in the woods
