TWILIGHT

A quiet lull, a strange calm
Twilight descended enveloping space
With stillness, peace, charm.

Last call of the day
Of the sea and the gull
Petals curled tight,
Add a comforting lull.

Peace has descended
At one, Earth and night sky
Nature's pattern of beauty
Here and on high.

A small touch of Paradise
Came in that hour
Pervading my being with
God's light and Power
