SOME MEN

It seems some men
Feel the need to control
To rape and damage
To make women feel less than whole

Why this need, This greed?
You are no better
You mean no more
Than any woman born before.

For there will be a time
When this will end
And the choice will return
And the power therein
To those who can ammend.

You will know then and understand
that power will be transfered
from your hand
To empower women to take control

To cement and mend
To love, to give, to comprehend
The real qualities necessary for us to live in peace
And man's lust and control for power
To cease
