NOVEMBER JOY

Grey turbulant sky, sun beam forcing through
Connecting its light to the earth
The Earth grasps a hold of it, taking the light
And the energy for all it is worth

November stillness, calm shrouded with mist
Gales and storms the very next day
Once cloth-ed trees hold skeleton arms
High aloft pointing their way.

Receiving the light, renewing their strength
Throughout winters long hibernation
Yet a beauty remains pervading the scene
Feeding us a sense of elation.

I never looked forward to November days
But this year it is not quite the same
For each day that dawns gives new hope to me
Nature sending her Love once again!
