Evening River Walk

Simply walking in the evening, 'ere twilight drifted round

Soft breezes of the day, kissed my cheek, and touched the ground

River gently flowing, lapping on the shore
On it's endless journey, made me yearn for more

Now sun was sinking slowly, vermillion hues across the sky
Silhouetting nature's plants and trees, against beauty from on high

The river kept on flowing, twilight descended fast
And the beauty of the moment , wrapped in my heart to last.
