A DAY AT THE SEASIDE
WESTGATE

I went down to Westgate
I gazed at the sea
I thought about you
And I thought about me.
The castles so high,
And the holes on the beach
The laughter, the stories
They are just out of reach.

As I gazed o'er the sand
And I scanned the far shore
I felt us together
A family once more.

For all that you have given me
It will evermore be
When I travel to Westgate
And look to the sea
