An open letter

Today and Love

It seems to me that it is time to stand up and be counted.
To realise that each one of us can make a difference to the way things are
if we work from Love and not fear.
My understanding is that this is the salve to all problems.

All of the people inhabiting this wonderful planet have an
equal right to shelter, food, water and Love.
Whatever the ethnicity, these are basic undeniable rights.
If in this country we have more to share around, then that is the way forward.
I know that some people are fearful that by sharing, they themselves will miss out.

Miss out on what! If it is there, it is there to be shared.

I feel it is time to take a clear look at what we are doing.
There are many people working to bring this humility and love
to all and it will have to be worked at!
We cannot change overnight but a start would be the abandonment of fear.
Fear of losing what was, fear that someone may have more than you,
fear of being overtaken and fear of change!

I send out the thought that we may move forward, aware and respectful of our brothers
and sisters all around our World.

For this life I give thanks

For this Joy I give thanks

For this world I give thanks
